Mission

The ART Parachute is a women-led nonprofit dedicated to the healing and transformative power of visual and performing arts. We work alongside historically excluded communities to co-create spaces of healing and empowerment. These shared spaces are for authentic expression, emotional healing, and collective imagination.

Through visual storytelling (fine art, mixed media, photography), spoken and written word, music, and performance, we empower participants to tell their stories, dream new ones, and rediscover joy, confidence, and belonging. We believe in the arts as a catalyst for wellness, social change, and community connection—and we strive to build a world rooted in equity, safety, and creative freedom for all.
